So far I have enjoyed using Twitter and being able to keep up with the academic community and my fellow classmates. I have learned a lot about education around the world from all the different networks I follow. I also can keep myself accountable by seeing where all my classmates are on their assignments and making sure I am staying on track. I am not someone who is very into social media, so the only issue I am experiencing is remembering to post, but the more often I go on, and the more I learn, the easier it is to remember.

I have acquired some new skills through making this website, however I have made a website before so the skills I am learning are transitioning from a website for an assignment, to one I could use for my future class. I like the creative aspect of designing the website however I want, especially because I was very interested in art and digital design in high school. When I make a real website for my class I would use many of the same skills I learned, such as the calendar, but also add a section for a newsletter so my students parents could easily access it whenever they needed.

I never liked annotating in high school, but I really like how I am learning how to annotate using Diigo in a way that will be useful for my future career. When creating lesson plans, especially in my first year teaching, having all my resources in one place will be extremely helpful. This can also be useful when working with many people, like we are in class. Teachers share resources all the time, and in schools where all the students should be learning similar content, having a common space for teachers can share information would make the process much easier.
